Well....that took awhile.

Hi y'all,

Well, with great enthusiasm and a TON of embarrassment for ignoring this for almost a year, my blog site is back in business. It's always been there; I just have not lately. A great deal of stuff has gone down in my personal world and the planet in general since I last posted anything on this page. I will elaborate on this and many other things over time. I do promise to stay on top of this a little better than I have from now on. Pinky swear!! ;)

A couple of things I want to plug: First, my awesome band, The RM3 Project (Oh, did I tell you I have a band now? LOL!) officially has an honest to goodness website now:

http://www.therm3project.com/

Please visit and check it out. Like most works of art - and humans - it is a work-in-progress. I am quite proud of it though. Simplicity is widely underrated. Also, next month is National Poetry Month. I will post videos here from "The Artist's Corner" (my new video series) featuring yours truly reading some old, new, and slightly used pieces. So stay tuned for that.

Lastly, I will say that the planet is on dangerously shaky ground. The recent earthquake and tsunami, and current nuclear disaster in Japan is more than a wake up call. It's a sonic and very cosmic kick in the ass for us all. Some of us will choose to ignore it, maybe shine on a condescending show of sympathy, but carry on like it does not involve us at all. To those who feel that way: WRONG. ANSWER. Just because we are thousands of miles apart does not mean we are not all in this together. It's natural to feel powerless and helpless in the the face of a seemingly giant, indestructable situation. However, looking the other way does not change a thing. In other words, we gotta do something about our attitudes and fast. Life does not require us to be super-human, only human. If it means not giving a shit and being a prick throughout your life, then fine. You'll never get within breathing distance of me if I can help it, but fine. But, if it means just trying the best you can, then go ahead - and let me know what I can do to help you out.

More to come on that note. Be good to yourselves! Later! -RM3
